Andy Harris

Andy Harris, 81, of Tuscaloosa, entered in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. He was born July 11, 1938, in Birmingham, Alabama.

Mr. Harris was a veteran, having served his country in the United States Army. He was a salesman by trade and worked hard to provide for his family. Andy was also a member of First Baptist Church of Cullman.

Mr. Harris is preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Virginia Curnutt Hudgins; daughter, Kimberly Ann Sapaugh; and brother, Michael Tussy Harris.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Barnett Harris; son, Andrew Michael Harris; grandchildren, April Marie Zark, Sarah Lucille Zaldivar; and great-grandchildren, Aidan Nicholas Zark, Gavin Alexander Zark, Athena Claire Zaldivar, and Kenichi Luis Zaldivar.

Funeral services for Mr. Harris are 2 p.m., Monday, December 2, 2019, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel.  Friends may visit with the family an hour prior to services, from 1 p.m., until services begin. Burial will follow in Duck River Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made, in memory of Andy Harris, to the Alzheimer’s Association at alz.org.
