Curtis Wayne Thomas

Curtis Wayne Thomas, 79, of Holly Pond, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020.  Mr. Thomas was born November 14, 1940, in Cullman County, to Meritt Arnold and Lora Evelena Duke Thomas.

Mr. Thomas worked at General Dynamics until retirement.  He was a member of Brooklyn Presbyterian Church and loved his family very much.

Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Meritt Arnold and Lora Evelena Duke Thomas; wife, Erlene Ellen Dunlap Thomas; daughters, Vickie Lynn Odum, Tina Michelle Lackey, and Janet Williamson; brother, Cecil Thomas; sister, Frances Thomas Cochran; great grandson, Trenton Ennis.

Survivors include son, Ricky Thomas; son-in-laws, Bob Odum, Jay Lackey, and Gary Williamson; brothers, Jerry (Jerl) Thomas and Carl (Ginger) Thomas; sister, Betty Kelley (Miles) ; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and four great- great grandchildren.

Services for Curtis Wayne Thomas will be Saturday, February 8, 2020, at 2:00 p.m., in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will be Saturday, February 8, 2020,from 12:00 noon, until 2:00 p.m., with burial to follow in Brooklyn Cemetery.
