Dola Russell

Dola Terrell Russell, age 92 of Birmingham, passed away on December 26, 2016. She was born in 1924 to Dennis Pugh and Myrtle Lee Watkins Terrell in Lauderdale County, Ala.

Ms. Russell was a church member at Midway Baptist Church and a former supervisor at K-Mart.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Bob Wood; grandson, Brett Wayne Wood; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Survivors include sons, Frank Harry (Janet) Howard, Jr., Russell “Rusty” (Jan) Howard, and James “Jimmy” (Donna) Howard; daughter, Debbie Howard Wood; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Geneva Terrell.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on December 28, 2016 at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel Interment following at Holly Pond Cemetery. Jimmy Howard officiating. Ms. Russell’s grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.
