Donald 'Duck' Wright

Mr. Donald 'Duck' Wright, age 68 Holly Pond, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2016, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Cullman County, AL to Joseph A. and Wynona Bussey Wright. He was a member of Holly Pond First Baptist Church.

Mr. Wright was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Doris Fay Wright; a stepson, John Rhoades; two stepdaughters, Michelle Holland and Fay Cothren; sister, Jeanette Wright; grandchildren, Madison Cothren, Connor Cothren, Sophie Cothren, and Riley Rhoades; and a special little dog named Sam.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM, interment following at Holly Pond Cemetery. Kenneth Little and Benjamin Smothers officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time.

Pallbearers will be Terry Carr, Jerry Golden, Charles Erwin, Bill Brannon, Trevor Brannon, Chad Cothren, Randy Wise, and Bartee Bryan.
