Dorothy Mae Pruett

Dorothy Mae Pitts Pruett, 87, of Holly Pond, passed away on July 20, 2019. She was born in Cullman County, on February 6, 1932, to James Lonnie and Nancy Ann Miller Pitts.

Ms. Pruett is preceded in death by her parents, James and Nancy Pitts; brothers, Douglas Fred Pitts, Bernard Pitts, Edward Pitts; and sisters, Ivalee Olinger and Doris Pitts.

Survivors include her son, Bobby Pruett; daughters, Teresa (Ronald) Fortner, Tressie Pruett; brother, Earlis (Robbie) Pitts; grandson, Christopher Ditto; and great-grandson, Eli Ditto.

Funeral services for Dorothy are 1 p.m., Monday, July 22, 2019, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family, on Monday, from 11 a.m., until services begin.
