Janice Fay Compton

Janice Fay Compton, age 69, of the Fairview community, passed away Saturday afternoon, March 7, 2020.  She was born March 5, 1951, in Gadsden, Alabama, to Clarence Thomas and Jewel Hudgins Kimbril. 

Mrs. Compton is preceded in death by her parents, and a son, B.J. Walker.

Survivors include her husband, Noah "Skip" Compton, Jr.; brother, Ricky Kimbril; sisters, Jean Tant, Frieda (Jimmy) Weeks, Judy (Red) Kirkland; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at Holly Pond Funeral Home, 11 a.m.,Thursday, March 12, 2020. Burial will follow in Holly Pond Cemetery. Visitation to be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 11, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
