Funeral Services for Mr. Jerry Lee Leathers, age 74 of the Center Point Community will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Center Point Baptist Church. Burial in the adjoining cemetery. Albert Dean Estes, Tim Collier, and Jeff Folds will officiate the service.

Mr. Leathers passed away on October 14th surrounded by his family. He was born in 1942 to Homer and Lucille Dorris Leathers in Cullman, Ala.

Mr. Leathers was a Mason and member of Local 91 Plumbers and Steam Fitters Union. He was a self employed plumber at his business, J & J Plumbing. 

Mr. Leathers is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers; and 4 sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Doris Howard Leathers; son, Jon (Ellavee)  Leathers; daughter, Tina (Ken) White; grandchildren, Shauna (Jeff) Folds, Shane (Liz) White, and Collin Leathers; great grandchildren, Alaina and Maci Folds; and brothers Homer (Brenda) Leathers, Jr., David (Rhonda) Leathers, and Sidney (Sharon) Leathers.

Visitation will be at Holly Pond Funeral Home Saturday night from 6 until 8 p.m.
