Kathy Ann Sparks

Kathy Ann Sparks, 58, of Hanceville, Alabama, passed away on April 9, 2025. Kathy was born in Ohio, to Hobert and Dianne Czarnecki Runyon on December 31, 1966.

Mrs. Sparks was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her yard. In the past Kathy enjoyed keeping chickens and growing flowers. She also liked to craft and read, and she loved her cats who kept her company.

Mrs. Sparks is preceded in death by her parents as well as her in-laws, who she had a special bond with, William H. and Laura Sparks.

Those left to cherish Kathy’s memory include her husband, Chester Sparks; children, Jeremy, Candace, and Amanda; siblings, James, Robbie, and Dedee; and three grandchildren.

Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 12 noon until services begin at 2:00 p.m. All services will be held in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow services in Garden City Cemetery.
