Mary Magdalene Bendyna

  Mrs. Mary Magdalene Bendyna, age 85, of McMinnville, TN passed away at the home of her son, David, in Holly Pond, AL Tuesday evening, October 3, 2017. Her parents were Clive and Lucille Southerland Sansom. She was born in Montgomery, AL. She was President of Santan Irrigation System in Queen Creek, AZ, and a member of People of the Living God Church, McMinnville, TN. Ms. Bendyna is predeceased by her parents; husband, Alexander Bendyna, Sr.; and daughter, Mary Jean Bendyna of McMinnville, TN.

 Survivors are sons, Glynn (Mary) Alexander of Montgomery, AL, Alexander (Shirley) Bendyna Jr. of Gilbert, AZ and David (Tina) Southerland of Holly Pond, AL.; daughters, Janett Suzanne Eckard of Avon, Indiana and Katherina Magdalene (Ivan) Kacic of McMinnville, TN; 14 grandchildren and an ever-growing number of great grandchildren.

Memorial Services for Mrs. Bendyna will be Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. at People of The Living God Church at 366 Cove Creek Road, McMinnville, Tennessee 37110 with interment beside her husband at Homeland Acres Cemetery, near the church, immediately following the service.
