Mary Frances Starnes

Funeral Services for Mary Frances Plunkett Starnes, age 70 of Holly Pond, will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 2 pm at Holly Pond Funeral Home, Herman (Dink) Lambert and David Hooper officiating. Interment following in Union Grove Cemetery.

She was born in Holly Pond, Alabama to Ludie Plunkett and Mary Fulmer Plunkett. Mrs. Starnes passed away on April 12, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Union Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Starnes was predeceased by her parents Ludie and Mary Plunkett; husband, Dwight Patrick Starnes; brothers, Billy Plunkett and Rudy Plunkett; and brother-in-law, John Bowden.

Survivors include daughters, Christy (Tony) Hitt and Shelia (Billy Ray) Harris; grandchildren, Tiffany Hayes, Wesley (Amy) Cook, Steffany Means, Jake, Hannah, Sarah Harris, and Justin Hitt; great grandchildren, Taylor, Austin, and Kendall Hayes; sisters, Ruth Bowden, Judy (Henry) Arndt, Kathy (Gerald) Hooper, Debra (Randall) Daniel, and Marilyn Giles.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm on Thursday evening at Holly Pond Funeral Home.
