Melba Jo Goodno

Funeral Services for Mrs. Melba Jo Waldrop Goodno, age 83 of Holly Pond, will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at Holly Pond Funeral Home, Kenneth Little officiating. Interment following in New Hope #2 Cemetery.

Mrs. Goodno was born in Cullman County on August 16, 1934 to James S. Waldrop and Lula Nunn Waldrop. She was a loving mother and housewife in her home caring for those she loved the most.

Mrs. Goodno is predeceased by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, of 63 years, Henry Roy Goodno; son, Vernon R. (Mary

Elizabeth) Goodno; and grandson, Jeremy Goodno.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday evening at Holly Pond Funeral Home.
