Patricia Diane Stancil

Patricia Diane Stancil, 73, of Hanceville, Alabama, passed away on October 15, 2021. She was born October 27, 1947, in Blount County, Alabama, to Junice James and Martha Louise Woods Smith.

Diane worked many years as a sitter for the elderly and homebound. She loved her dogs and enjoyed having them around. But more than anything, Diane loved her family and she loved being a Nanny to her grandbabies.

Ms. Stancil is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Sabra Stancil Henry; grandchildren, Joshua and Darlene Farley, Kendra Farley, Krystal and Stephen Harrell, Kendall Henry, Anthony and Bryanna Stancil; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Ms. Stancil are 1p.m., Thursday, October 21, 2021, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family, at the funeral home, on Wednesday evening, October 20, 2021, from 6 p.m., until 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holly Pond Funeral Home in memory of Diane. All donations will be applied to the services of Ms. Stancil.
