Sandra Jean Scott

Sandra Jean Scott, 78, of Savannah, Georgia, formerly of Birmingham, Alabama, entered into the presence of her Heavenly Father on July 19, 2021. She was born in Jefferson County, Alabama, to Urell and Margaret Sue Golden Kenerley, on February 24, 1943.

Ms. Scott was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading and word search puzzles. Sandra enjoyed crafting and art projects as well. She was a member of One By One Ministries, in Savannah, and enjoyed worshiping her Lord and Savior alongside her church family.
Sandra is preceded on death by her parents; her husband, Carlton Lee Scott; son, John Douglas McCullough; and a sister-in-law, Rebecca Jean Kenerley.
Ms. Scott is survived by her daughter, Suellen M. and Wayne Yates; brothers, John W. and Janet Kenerley, Urell “Sonny” Kenerley II; grandchildren, Ashley, Kimberly, Jacob, Wayne Jr., Melissa, and Jonathan; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Ms. Scott are 2 p.m., Saturday, July 24, in the Holly Pond Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne Yates officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Pond Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family an hour prior to service time, from 1 p.m., until 2 p.m.
